Vespa Nyx wants nothing more than to spend the rest of her life cataloging Unnatural creatures in her father’s museum, but as she gets older, the requirement to become a lady and find a husband is looming large. Syrus Reed’s Tinker family has always served and revered the Unnaturals from afar, but when his family is captured to be refinery slaves, he finds that his fate may be bound up with Vespa’s—and with the Unnaturals.
As the danger grows, Vespa and Syrus find themselves in a tightening web of deception and intrigue. At stake may be the fate of New London—and the world.

Adam Wilson is kidnapped and taken to the Dial after betraying his best friend. The Dial is a twilight world where teenage traitors are forced to atone for their treachery. It's a terrible place, ruled over by a cruel despot, where every day is a struggle for survival - and escape. Legend has it that only one person has fled the Colditz-like prison. Nobody knows if he made it back to the real world, but he left behind a ray of hope that has reached through the years. Soon Adam is caught up in a deadly plan to escape. But who can he trust in a world full of traitors...?
The Unnaturalists: I so want to read more steampunk type of stories, so I'm really intrigued by this. Plus magical creatures, deception, danger and who knows, maybe a forbidden romance between Vespa and Syrus? Throw in the gorgeous cover and I'm hooked!
The Traitors: This is giving me creepy vibes. It's kind of like hell.... except you're generally much younger, still alive and I assume no raging fire. But they did bad and must atone for their sins. But... THEY'RE TEENAGERS!!! Teens make stupid mistakes all the time. Oh I cannot wait to read this and see what horrible things Adam will have to endure in the Dial. Sorry I'm so eager to see you anguish, Adam, but I've no doubt it will make for a thrilling story!
