-insert hot boys above-
Follow the yellow brick road.... or in this case, the hot boy paved road! Spread across both mine and Lisa's Valentine blog posts, will be mystery letters. Your job? Stalk our blogs, collect the letters and unscramble them to form a 2012 book title we're frothing at the mouth for!
There will be two separate hunts, giving you double the chance to win! By completing either or both successfully, you’ll earn entries towards the big giveaway.
The first set of letters you'll find (starting today, coloured RED) will form the title of one of Lisa's most highly anticipated titles of 2012, and the second (starting February 13th, coloured BLUE) will form one of mine.
When you think you have the title of the first book, come back and submit your answer in the form below! Please do not post your answer in the comments!
On the 15th, I’ll add the link for you to submit the title of the second book! You won’t be able to fill in the form until after all of the letters have been revealed though.
Hints:
Both are YA 2012 titles. Both titles contain multiple words.
Keep a record of your letters!
The first letter will appear on Lisa's Everneath post today.
And the second letter will appear on my Amalie Howard guest post today.

XD
*cackles* I think you fail to understand the meaning of 'evil' in Evil Overlord.
DeleteAHSJGDSLJKFLD. Don't talk to me about colours LOL. And ugh, I did not even consider that they're BLUE and part 2 will be BLUE letters. Fail Brodie.
:P
DeletePlus, the gray-blue might be slightly hard to differentiate from the gray of your normal text if it's one letter at a time? Maybe make it BRIGHT blue? Sorry, I'm being annoying, not helpful.
You're my FAVORITE evil overlord :D
THIS IS SO FUN. I love scavenger hunts. *goes off to hunt for letters*
ReplyDeleteOh, wait.
*sits patiently and waits for post*
*bored*
ReplyDeleteSo, can I just start guessing titles that I think might be your highly anticipated books?
:P
Hehe yeah, I'm sure on your 55th try you'll get it right :P PATIENCE, GRASSHOPPER!
DeleteAwesome, scavenger hunts are great!
ReplyDeleteThey are! I hope you enjoy ours :)
DeleteMy most anticipated is Blackout by Mira Grant!
DeleteThis is the perfect time to say that I'd be grateful if I were Edward Cullen because he can read minds! I WANT TO READ YOUR MIND, BRODIE! LOL. OMG, those Australian Prize Packs are making me drool again and again. And again. Thank you evil overlord for this post.
ReplyDeleteYour trust-worthy minion,
Celine
PS: Now can you tell me your most anticipated titles? :P
Hahaha I'm not sure you DO want to read my mind... the consequences to your own sanity are scary :P But yes, these prize packs are so swoonworthy!!! I need to learn how to shapeshift into someone else so I can enter them ALL!
DeleteWell, when you ask so nicely, there's.... Brodie and the French Kiss, Brodie and the Boy Next Door, Under the Never Sky with Brodie and Perry, The Statistical Probability of Oliver & Brodie 4eva, The Unbecoming of Brodie When Noah Shaw Sets His Sexy Eyes On Her And Takes Her To Be- OKAY. Um. Damn, now I'm going to have to change the title answer =\
pfftt YOU WISH BRODIE! NONE OF THOSE HOTTIES WILL EVER BE YOURS :DDDD *evil smirk*
DeleteShirley you are just WAYY too evil. XD
DeleteScavenger Hunts can be fun but they also be bit tricky, be easy on us, it's so hot my brain is melting! Oh, yes where's Edward when you need him! Reading minds all except Bella's.. :D
ReplyDeleteVery excited for this! Sounds tricky but I shall prevail. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like tonnes of fun! Plus I already stalk--err, I mean follow your blogs in an obsessive abiet non-crazy kinda way already <3
ReplyDeleteSCAVENGER HUNTS!!! Ehh...we have to UNJUMBLE them?!?! *sigh* I've always been bad at unjumbling words :S (yes, me the odd one out in primary school!) BUT I'M STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS <3333 Now,WHERE IS LISA'S EVERNEATH POST?!?!
ReplyDeleteI'm SOLD. I think this scavenger hunt ( while it sounds so unladylike :P) I must participate - sounds fun ( maybe fun enough that I will not hold my grudge against you... maybe) :P
ReplyDeleteLove scavenger hunt! I'm in!
ReplyDeleteWow, look at all these prizes! This is going to be super fun! Looking forward to it :)
ReplyDeleteMACARONI AND CHEESE I'M SO EXCITED.
ReplyDeleteThe US prize pack has me scrambling to pick up the letters you've left us. February is so awesome. ALREADY.
- Asher (from Paranormal Indulgence)
Oh my holy goshness, a scavenger hunt????? COUNT ME IN! <3 I looove scavenger hunts! I'm actually really bad (and not just in a sort of bad sense -- more like a how-can-she-fail-a-scavenger-hunt sense), but they're always so much fun! x) Although I don't think that yellow brick road is big enough to fit all of my book boyfriends on LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou're making me incredibly giddy for so early in the morning, Brodie! x) This February is already turning out to be AMAZING! <3
*Stalking all posts!!*
ReplyDeleteAwesomeness!
I am determined to break my being-useless-at-scavenger-hunts curse. I WILL unscramble this one! I will! Eventually! Maybe! I hope! :P You and Lisa rock, by the way. Thaaank you for being awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteWoohoo this is gonna be awesomeeee! The letter-by-letter teasing is evil. But we'll forgive you. Thanks for putting this together.
ReplyDeleteWoo! The beginning of another great scavenger hunt! Thanks for this. I'm going to have fun stalking your blogs!
ReplyDeleteDeleted scenes? YES! And one that's Everneath? Double YES! :D Thank yoiu!
ReplyDeletethere's so many giveaways! I can hardly keep up!
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be so much fun! I can't wait! And thanks for the awesome prizes! I agree with FairyWhispers, it's really hard to keep up!
ReplyDeleteCan the hot boy paved road be found on a map? Thanks for the great hunt!
ReplyDelete*bookmarks* Let the letter hunt begin!
ReplyDeleteGreat prize... signed bookmarks... more great but a scavenger hunt...i'm not really good at them
ReplyDeleteThese prize packs are brilliant...fingers crossed I'm lucky, haha! Looking forward to solving this scavenger hunt! I have my pen and paper ready! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI had this figured out from the first day. It's one of my most anticipated reads too (don't worry, I won't say the title). Along with Pandemonium and Losing Lila.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of anticipated book of 2012: Pandemonium, Insurgent, and Bitterblue.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaah! Is this where we're posting our most anticipated title? Insurgent! Insurgent! Insurgent! Want! NOW! *cries*
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for INSURGENT!!! and many others Like Before I Wake, Onyx, Shadow Bound and many more!!!
ReplyDeletePavan
WHOOT! Loving the Scavenger Hunt. ;) I figured it out a few days ago and submitted my form, fingers crossed I'm right. :P IT MADE SENSE TO ME!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if it matters WHERE we post our most anticipated title but it would definitely have to be City of Lost Souls for me. :D
So I'm like one of the laziest people around, but damn, do you guys know how to give incentives! :P I'm drooling from all the books!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for Endless by Jessica Shirvington
ReplyDeleteI am most looking forward to the sequels to The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, The Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Jennifer Armentrout's books:)
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble deciphering it.. do you mean your/Lisa's words each contain more than one word or do you add your and Lisa's words to form a title? D:
ReplyDeleteOkay, so..
DeleteRed letters = Lisa's title.
Blue letters = My title.
Red letters form ONE title, blue letters a DIFFERENT title. Each title has more than one word. For example, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer has multiple words, but is one title. Does that make sense? I am the most confusing person ever, so feel free to ask me to explain it better haha. But yeah, don't mix blue and red letters! :)
Okay get it now.. haha, i feel dumb :s
DeleteThanks! :D
