Predict The Title! #1

So. I've been thinking about Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson. As one does when they have nothing better to do and there exists a book with sexy guys and kickass girls and crazy cool superpowers. We already have the title for the desperately coveted sequel - Losing Lila - but what about the third book? You can't tell me I'm not the only one who's considered possible names?

So, I figure I might do a weekly (or randomly-posted) game where we brainstorm title ideas for books we're most desperately awaiting!

I have one clear favourite for book #3:

BEDDING LILA

Fine, so the original was more of a ffffffff sounding word, but you know... this is a PG blog and all. And Screwing Lila just sounds nasty. I was also considering Deflowering Lila, because it just feels more expressive, but Bedding fits in more with the previous titles, don't you think?

ANYWAY. Think about it. Bedding Lila. It would obviously involve Alex Wakeman. NAKED. SWEATY. FLASHING HIS ABS. Come on, we need to finish what they were TOTALLY starting during that bed scene in Hunting Lila! I really feel like Sarah was foreshadowing book 3's title. Anyone with me?

      AND THEN ALEX RUNS IN AND SAVES THE DAY (without a shirt on, or maybe he was just back from Bedding Lila y'know?) AND EVERYTHING IS EXTREMELY HOT.

      And they don't manage to fist, kill or drown Lila. And Alex is VERY hot.

      I LOVE the idea of Alex coming in to save Lila (I know you're getting Mikita vibes here, where he always comes in to save the day <3).

      600 page novel featuring a steamy Lila/Alex scene, attempted murder on Lila and a shirtless Alex furiously speeding in atop his motorbike (real heroes don't need a horse!) to save her life. I LIKE.

      That should be an entire series. With a whole book on the steamy scene.

    6. Remember that episode where Michael exploded the wall of the room Nikita was trapped in and was waiting for her on his motorbike, looking all sexy and badass?

      THAT is what we need from Alex. With the additional shooting part and doing 'unmentionable things to her.' :D

      Damn. I'm going to cry if we don't get a motorbike rescue/shoot-the-crap-out-of-ever-one scene.

  5. OH MY GOD, I THINK I LOVE YOU! Hahahaha, this is just hilarious!

    How about.. Loving Lila? It could mean the same thing, but is slightly nicer sounding, as it wouldn't be just a one nighter between them because Alex is just amazing. But yet it could mean it's a little more reltionship-y too. Without losing all the awesome action and stuff.

    Otherwise.. Hunting Lila, Losing Lila... Finding Lila? Maybe she finds herself a bit more and "becomes" this eve more powerful awesome super-powered chick? Or she's literally found by bad people. Or.. Ok, I can't think of any others that fit the Hunting/Losing theme. I'll stop :)

      I like the Finding Lila one! Not the being found by the bad people part though :P I like the idea of her really growing into her 'awesome super-powered' self and fully embracing her inner badass. I am so intrigued to see what the actual title will be!
